Know a glam man with a magic plan Gonna turn on the world, even Uncle Sam He’s the Pentagram Man, Pentagram Man In a five-point star with his five-point plan put together in a place he thought was Vietnam but was Birmingham: he’s the Pentagram Man It’s funny being funny when the world’s in a hurry Slow down Mister Pentagram Man Sat at a table singin’ so sweetly, words from a novel by Dennis Wheatley The Pentagram Man: Pentagram Man! Confides in his lover that he’s really none other than a long-lost grandson of Crowley‘s brother… Pentagram Man It’s funny being funny when the world’s in a hurry Slow down Mister Pentagram Man It’s funny being funny when the world’s in a hurry Slow down It’s funny being funny when the world’s in a hurry Slow down Mister Pentagram Man Slow down

DevilAngel 03:55
Silent head resting on my shoulder, I think you’ll find I’m taking you over Lit the fuse and I’ve slung your hook, Ice and bone and dreams that you took I’ve turned to dancing on the grave of everything you choose to be And now it feels we’re damned again And this silence is golden It’s so heavenly for me to be your DevilAngel You’ll find learning me’s like a multiplication table I’m your crash course in melancholia: I’m your leaper in the corn & clover I’m your flow and I’m your ebb: Come into me, I’ve spun the web Isis, Astartre, Diana, Hecate, Demeter, Kali, Innana Isis, Astartre, Diana, Hecate, Demeter, Kali, Innana It’s so heavenly for me to be your Devilangel You’ll find learning me’s like a multiplication table It’s so heavenly for me to be your Devilangel You’ll find learning me’s like a multiplication table It’s so heavenly for me to be your Devilangel You’ll find learning me’s like a multiplication table It’s so heavenly for me to be your Devilangel You’ll find learning me’s like a multiplication table

What do you do when there're no worlds left to conquer? High ideals come easy with luxury on the sunny side of the street but you never notice me… And you’re well heeled it’s so bright in your future you close your eyes and live in luxury on the sunny side of the street and you never notice me Well, I've tried so hard just to get you to see try to stand up straight but you’re all at sea We're all doomed to repeat the mistakes of the past when memorials that we make don’t ever last (ahhh) So what would it take to change your ways honey? Would you change for the sake of love or money? Tomorrow could change you in a blink. What would it take to change your ways honey? Would you change for the sake of love or money? Tomorrow could change you in the blink of an eye And so you learn your lessons while everyone hurts It’s no wonder we're in the state we're in when you don’t practice what you preach you've never been good for me And in a world where war is the mother of invention lives hang like threads from an ancient tapestry For all talk of being free what happened to liberty? and I'm tired… I'm tired… So what would it take to change your ways honey? Would you change for the sake of love or money? Tomorrow could change you in a blink What would it take to change your ways honey? Would you change for the sake of love or money? Tomorrow could change you in the blink of an eye So what would it take to change your ways honey? Tomorrow could change you in the blink of an eye…

it's a day in the life of livin' free But money is the root of all evil It's gonna load up your mind See the Holy Trinity So don't take your time thinking it over It's another day in the life of enemies And money is still the source of envy I'm livin' this life when it seems so empty So baby hold back all of your tears: can't you see I'm tryin'? I got my hand on the seam: it’s as good as a woman It’s giving me chills, can’t get to my feet It’s been a long time a-comin’, this plan of mine This life keeps rolling, I am wasting time! Today is the day I am gonna start livin’ (ooooh!) Blue sky! hangin’ above and the sun is beating (ooooh!) I’m gonna take all that good stuff ‘cause you know I need it (oooh!) Well I’m leaving! I’m gonna shake off all of these blues… You can’t carry on living with your hands held high! Drop your gun baby and reach for the sky! It’s been a long time woman, you’ve been serving time I got you some rum, gonna make you mine! I can’t stop ‘til I’m Satisfied I can’t stop ‘til I’m Satisfied I can’t stop ‘til I’m Satisfied I can’t stop ‘til I’m Satisfied…. Oooh Oooh

Sighed D.C. 08:02
Cat’s eyes blink at the stinking matter Stitches glitch at the winking witch Girls Of May in the wind they pray Fish of prey in the dunking ditch Mouchos, coruxas, sapos e bruxas. Demos, trasgos e diaños, espritos das nevoadas veigas. Corvos, pintigas e meigas, feitizos das menciñeiras. Podres cañotas furadas, fogar dos vermes e alimañas. Lume das santas Compañas. Mal de ollo, negros meigallos, cheiro dos mortos, tronos e raios. Ouveo do can, pregón da morte; fuciño do sátiro e pé do coello.

about

Another excellent and eclectic release from DC Fontana, "Pentagram Man" features the psychedelic dance-pop of the title track and also features a fabulous version sung by blue-eyed soul star Don Fardon.
"DevilAngel" is an infectious tune that sees the DCs make use of woodwind as well as brass and even the Chinese yangqin while "What Would It Take?" is a delightful trip into acid-folk terrtory.
"Satisfied (Part 1)" is the stripped back cousin of Part 2 which appeared on "Six Against Eight" - this time congas replace drums and cellos slide and rise as organ player Scott Riley puts in another effortless vocal performance of high quality.
The strangest track in DC history, "Sighed D.C." is an ehteral bliss-out of dreamy psychedelia that attracted Kaleidoscope's Peter Daltrey to the band.
It's a stunning slice of ambient experimentalism that once again proved that DC Fontana are so much more than what people expect...
